What time is check in and out time?
Check in time is after 3:00 P.M. and check out time is before 10:00 A.M.

Are pets allowed at Nangor Resort?
No pets allowed during the summer weeks.

What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits refunded if written notice of cancellation is received prior to June 1st for summer months. All other cancellations three weeks prior to reservation date. All cancellations are subject to a $25.- handling fee.

Is the restaurant open?
Our restaurant is operated seasonally. During the summer weeks it will be open and in the winter time whenever the snow mobile trails are open. The restaurant is also open for special occasions and reservations. Please call ahead for restaurant hours.

Can we bring our own fire wood?
Unfortunately we can't allow our guests to bring up their own firewood. This due to the risk of spreading tree diseases in Ontario. And to reduce the risk of nails on our beach, coming out of old building lumber.

What kind of fish can we expect to catch in the Ottawa River?
Cat fish, northern pike, walleye, small mouth bass, large mouth bass, Sturgeon and more.

How far is Nangor Resort located from Ottawa?
Our resort is about 1.5 hours driving from Ottawa.

How far is the closest convenience store?
In Westmeath is the closest convenience store and that is a 5-10 minutes drive from our resort.

Are the units equipped with barbecues?
No, but you can bring your own.

Do the units have a microwave?
Yes, all our units are fully housekeeping and are equipped with a toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, stove, cutlery, pots and pans.
